The purpose of this measure is to amend the laws relating to education.

Your Committee has amended this bill by inserting language to establish a database to track location, needs, and specifications of computers, technical equipment, and software within each public school.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Education that is attached to this report, your Committee is in accord with the action to report out S.B. No. 381, as amended herein, and recommends that it pass Second Reading in the form attached hereto as S.B. No. 381, S.D. 1, and be recommitted to the Committee on Education, for further consideration.
