The purpose of this measure is to appropriate funds for the operating expenses of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.

Testimony in support of the measure was received from the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.

Your Committee believes that the moneys appropriated by this measure are necessary for the continued operation of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Hawaiian Affairs that is attached to this report, your Committee is in accord with the intent and purpose of H.B. No. 1100, H.D. 1, and recommends that it pass Second Reading and be referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
