CLIFFORD LABOY, for a term to expire June 30, 2005,

The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs and Plumbers and Fitters Local 675 United Association submitted testimony in support of the nominee.
Clifford Laboy has served on the Board of Electricians and Plumbers (Board) as a public member since 1997 and is the current chairperson. Mr. Laboy brings to the Board a broad range of experience including his work in labor relations, construction, and his entrepreneurial endeavors. As a current member of the Board, he has exhibited diligence and excellent leadership skills.
As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Commerce, Consumer Protection and Housing that is attached to this report, your Committee, after full consideration of the background, character, experience, and qualifications of the nominee, has found the nominee to be qualified for the position to which nominated and recommends that the Senate advise and consent to the nomination.
