Your Committee on Commerce, Consumer Protection and Housing, to which was referred Governor's Message No. 160, submitting for study and consideration the nomination of the following individual to the Board of Electricians and Plumbers:
GLENN Y. TANGO, for terms to expire June 30, 2001, and June 30, 2005,

The Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Association of Hawaii testified in support of this nomination.
Glenn Y. Tango, a licensed journeyperson plumber and licensed plumbing contractor, is President of Honolulu Plumbing Company. Mr. Tango serves as Secretary and on the Board of Directors of the Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Association of Hawaii. Additionally, Mr. Tango serves on the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for the plumbing and pipefitting industry.
As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Commerce, Consumer Protection and Housing that is attached to this report, your Committee, after full consideration of the background, character, experience, and qualifications of the nominee, has found the nominee to be qualified for the position to which nominated and recommends that the Senate advise and consent to the nomination.
