BOBBIE ONZUKA-ANDERSON, Policy Advisory Board for Elder Affairs, for a term to expire June 30, 2004.

Upon review of the testimony and the statement by the nominee, your Committee finds that Bobbie Onzuka-Anderson, has the necessary character, experience, and qualifications to serve on the Policy Advisory Board for Elder Affairs.
Testimony in support of this measure was submitted by the Executive Office of Aging.
Ms. Onzuka-Anderson has served more than twenty years as a social worker in the field of aging. Her experience ranges from clinical social work to management of programs and projects to education and development of policy. She served as a community representative to the Policy Advisory Board for Elder Affairs, plans and policy review subcommittee, where she proved her value through her input relating to issues before the committee. Her expertise will bring fresh and valuable insight to the Policy Advisory Board for Elder Affairs and her comprehensive perspective regarding aging issues will serve the Board well.
As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Health and Human Services that is attached to this report, your Committee, after full consideration of the background, character, experience, and qualifications of the nominee, has found the nominee to be qualified for the position to which nominated and recommends that the Senate advise and consent to the nomination.
