Completion of Work of the Twenty-First Legislature

BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the Twenty-first Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2001, that the President be and is hereby, authorized and empowered as the President deems necessary to (1) expend such sum or sums from the funds appropriated for the legislative and other expenses of the Twenty-first Legislature, Regular Session of 2001; (2) contract, hire, or employ such personnel and assistance to meet the work of the Senate after the session and to determine the period of employment for each; and (3) do or cause to be done such other duties, all for the purposes of completing the work of the Twenty-first Legislature, Regular Session of 2001, subsequent to the adjournment thereof, including the carrying out of any official legislative business in the interim between the 2001 and 2002 session, up to and including January 16, 2002.
