A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to state government.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Act 230, Session Laws of Hawaii 1998, is amended by amending section 17 to read as follows:
"SECTION 17. This Act shall take effect upon its approval; provided that Part III [and IV] shall be repealed on June 30, 2001[.], and Part IV shall be repealed on June 30, 2003."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3
. This Act shall take effect on June 29, 2001.
