A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to the waimanalo Public library.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The legislature finds that there is a need for a full time children's librarian for the Waimanalo Public Library to help children gain a better understanding of the benefits and use of the public library.
The purpose of this Act is to appropriate funds for a full time children's librarian for the Waimanalo Public Library.
SECTION 2. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $ , or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2001-2002, for one (1.0) full-time children's librarian for the Waimanalo Public Library.
SECTION 3. The sum appropriated shall be expended by the Board of Education for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2001.
