A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $588,210, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2001-2002, and the sum of $357,264, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2002-2003, for emergency medical services for the Makakilo-Kapolei area of the city and county of Honolulu.

SECTION 2. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $588,210, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2001-2002, and the sum of $357,264, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2002-2003, for emergency medical services for the greater Honolulu area.

SECTION 3. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $879,660, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2001-2002, and the sum of $729,660, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2002-2003, for emergency medical services for the Kahaluu-Kaaawa area of the city and county of Honolulu.

SECTION 4. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $879,660, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2001-2002, and the sum of $729,660, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2002-2003, for emergency medical services for the Waianae, Makaha, Nanakuli area of the city and county of Honolulu.

SECTION 5. The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of health for the purposes of this Act.

Section 6. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2001.
