A BILL FOR AN ACT
making an appropriation for various capital improvements in the eighth representative district.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2001-2002.
1. Lahaina public library, Maui
Plans and design for the Lahaina public library.

Total Funding $1,000,000
2. Lahainaluna high school, Maui
Plans, design, and construction for the Lahainaluna high school library drainage system.
Plans $
Design $
Construction $
Total Funding $1,300,000
3. Baldwin high school, Maui
Construction for the expansion of the Baldwin high school library.

Construction $
Total Funding $3,225,000
SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the department of accounting and general services for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2001.
