A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 148-1, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending the definition of "fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, and coffee" to read as follows:
""Fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, and coffee" means any fresh fruit, fresh vegetable [and], coffee, or transgenic produce whether imported or produced in the State."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
