A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to capital improvement projects for the benefit of the twenty-eighth representative district.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2001-2002.
1. To be expended by the department of accounting and general services:
A. Dole intermediate school, Oahu
Plans, design, and construction of a 90-foot x 100-foot lighted overflow parking and play area at the rear of the campus between the shop and music buildings.

A. Likelike highway, Oahu

A. Kalihi street between Monte street and Numana road, Oahu

B. Skate park at Kalihi valley recreation center, Oahu
Plans, design, and construction of a skate park for roller blading, skateboarding, and scooters at Kalihi valley recreation center.

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act; provided that funds from item (3)(A) shall be matched by the city and county of Honolulu.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2001.
