Report Title: School Health Aides

Description: Establishes the school health services pilot project expanding the workday of health aides from 6.5 hours to 8 hours per day at 12 public middle and high schools statewide with enrollments in excess of 1,200 students. Requires the DOH to report to the legislature on the progress, experience, and recommendations for the expansion, improvement, or discontinuance of the project. Requires the DOH to provide a registered professional nurse to supervise the school health aides. Amends conditions of employment for health aides. Appropriates funds for the project. (SD1)
