HB 2311    RELATING TO THE PROCUREMENT CODE FOR DESIGN          LMG, FIN
        PROFESSIONAL SERVICES.
        Requires procurement of design professional
        services on the basis of qualifications.  Clarifies
        selection criteria, making experience in project
        type the highest selection criteria through
        evaluation of past performances.  Establishes
        ranking of professional service providers by a
        selection committee.

HB 2361    RELATING TO MEDICAL SAVINGS ACCOUNTS.             LMG,LAB/FIN
        Establishes a medical savings accounts pilot
        project for legislators and legislative
        employees only.

HB 2920    RELATING TO THE AUDITOR.                             LMG, JHA
        Defines working papers privilege and confidentiality
        as it relates to the Auditor.

HB 2193    RELATING TO PUBLIC ACCESS.                           LMG, FIN
        Appropriates funding to convert an existing part-
        time position in the Public Access Room to a full-
        time staff position.

HB 2194    RELATING TO PUBLIC ACCESS                            LMG, FIN
        Appropriates funds so that legislative sessions
        can be broadcast in streaming media format via
        the Internet, converts a part-time position to a
        full-time position in the Public Access Room,
        establishes a childcare pilot program, and

 
        transfers the responsibility for the sale and
        distribution of statutory revisions from the Lt.
        Governor to the legislature.

HB 2636    RELATING TO CAMPAIGN ACTIVITIES OF STATE             LMG, JHA
        LEGISLATORS AND STATE EMPLOYEES.
        Prohibits legislators and state employees from
        certain activities that use state resources to
        assist in the election of a person to public office.

HB 2834    MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR LEGISLATIVE              LMG, FIN
        INTERNAL COMPUTER NETWORK.
        Appropriates out of the general revenues
        unspecified amounts for the Senate and House
        of Representatives for fiscal year 2000-2001 to
        upgrade the legislative internal computer network.

HB 2711    RELATING TO THE OFFICE OF INFORMATION PRACTICE. LMG,JHA/CPC,FIN
        Makes the office of information practices 
        permanent.  Places it within the legislature.

HB 2640    RELATING TO THE SALARY OF THE EXECUTIVE         LMG, JHA, FIN
        DIRECTOR OF THE STATE ETHICS COMMISSION.
        Raise salary to that of department head.
