HB 1869       RELATING TO PUBLIC EMPLOYEE HEALTH BENEFITS.
           Creates health benefit board serving both public employers and
           employees with flexible powers to terminate certain coverages.  Limits
           employer contributions for active and retired employees based on
           legislative appropriations.  Repeals existing PEHF law.  (LAB/FIN)

HB 2461       RELATING TO PUBLIC EMPLOYEE HEALTH BENEFITS.
           Creates an employer-union trust fund as a single public employees
           health benefit delivery system administered by a board of trustees.
           (LAB/FIN)

HB 1871       RELATING TO THE HAWAII PUBLIC EMPLOYEES HEALTH FUND.
           Empowers the board of the Public Employees Health Fund to annually
           audit health benefits plans offered by employee organizations.
           (LAB/FIN)

HB 2445       RELATING TO THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES HEALTH FUND.
           Permits the Health Fund to return the employees' share of insurance
           carrier refunds to beneficiaries based on their years of benefit plan
           participation.  (LAB/FIN)

HB 2449       RELATING TO THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES HEALTH FUND.
           Requires the Public Employees Health Fund Board of Trustees to
           implement the following for the benefit plan year beginning July 1,
           2001:  (1) preferred provider organization plans for medical benefits;
           (2) Medicare+Choice plans; (3) revised drug benefit plans; and (4) a
           revised methodology for computing out-of-pocket costs to ensure
           comparability for all employee beneficiaries. (LAB/FIN)

HB 2462       RELATING TO THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES HEALTH FUND.
           Reduces state and county employer contributions for health benefits by:
           (1) Eliminating employer contributions for dependents of employees
           hired on or after July 1, 2000; (2) reducing employer contributions for
           health benefits for surviving spouses and dependents of employees who
           retire after December 31, 2001, upon death of the retiree, and (3)
           statutorily setting the Medicare Part B reimbursement rate at $45.50
           per month, and requiring legislative approval for any increases.
