HB 1922        RELATING TO TOBACCO                                 HLT, JHA
(HSCR 427-00)  Prohibits the possession and use of tobacco products by
            minors under eighteen years of age.  Makes the penalty for
            such possession and use $500 for the first offense and not
            less than $500 nor more than $2,000 for subsequent offenses.

HB 291         RELATING TO STORAGE OF FIREARMS                          JHA
            Requires storage of firearms in commercially manufactured
            firearm safe, or locked in commercially manufactured gun
            rack, that cannot readily be removed from the premises.

HB 1880        RELATING TO FIREARMS                                     JHA
            Provides for continuing obligations on the part of firearms
            owners to meet registration requirements.

HB 1952        RELATING TO HANDGUNS                                     JHA
            Establishes a handgun safety performance standard commission
            to adopt a safety performance standard for manufacture of
            all handguns.  Prohibits any handgun not meeting this
            standard after 12/31/05.

HB 2946        RELATING TO FIREARMS                                     JHA

 
 
            Exempts law enforcement officers and their suppliers from
            ban on electric guns.  Redefines electric guns to include

SB 1095        RELATING TO HUNTING                            WLU, JHA, FIN
(HSCR 1132)    Authorizes an additional two years to allow adequate time to
            implement and evaluate the effect of handgun hunting.
