SB 2934    RELATING TO CORRECTIONAL HEALTH CARE      JDC/HHS, WAM
        Exempts the position of the correctional Health Care
        Administrator and authorized physician positions from
        the civil service process.

SB 2484    RELATING TO MEDICAID RECOVERY             JDC/HHS, WAM
        Clarifies functions of medicaid fraud unit of the
        attorney general to enforce Medicaid fraud and other
        federal health programs; allows unit to conduct an
        elder abuse neglect and prevention program; and allows
        Medicaid investigations recovery fund to provide funds
        for abuse and neglect prevention program.

SB 2654    RELATING TO THE TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY    JDC/HHS, WAM
        TRUST FUND
        Creates traumatic brain injury trust fund and
        commission to disburse moneys to applicants for care
        and rehabilitative services for traumatic brain injury
        victims.  Assesses fines, for deposit into the fund,
        of 10% of original fines for traffic code violations
        and operation of motor vehicles violations.

SB 2763    RELATING TO THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE        JDC/HHS, WAM
        TOBACCO SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT

 
        Establishes the Tobacco Enforcement Special Fund.
        Exempts the fund from the central service surcharge
        and from reimbursement for departmental administrative
        expenses.  Revises the distribution of the tobacco
        settlement moneys.
