HB 2874    MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR DRUG          HLT/EDN, FIN
        TREATMENT, COUNSELING, AND INTERVENTION SERVICES AT
        WAIPAHU HIGH SCHOOL.
        Appropriates $1 in FY2000-2001 and FY2001-2002 for 
        substance abuse treatment, counseling, and
        intervention services at Waipahu high school. (Takumi)

HB 2521    RELATING TO SCHOOL HEATH REQUIREMENTS.    HLT/EDN, FIN
        This bill would modify school entry health statutes
        to permit current practices in documentation of
        immunization and tuberculosis examinations by moving
        the standards of evidence to rules. (Say, B/R)

HB 2264    RELATING TO IMMUNIZATIONS.                    HLT, FIN
        Requires immunizing children against hepatitis A to
        enter all schools.  Allows DOH to require immunization
        for all under certain circumstances.  Conditions
        required immunizations on availability of federal
        funds.  Requires DOH report.  Effective 07/01/01.
        Repealed on 06/30/05. (Takai)

HB 2765    RELATING TO THE CENTER FOR CHILD AND          HLT, FIN
        ADOLESCENT TRAUMA RECOVERY.
        Creates a center for child and adolescent trauma 
        recovery at the University of Hawaii.  Appropriates
        $1,000,000 for FY 2000-2001 for startup funding.

HB 2202    MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE HANA          HLT, FIN
        COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER.
        Appropriates $952,000 in FY 2000-2001 to the Hana
        Community Health Center to allow the center to 
        continue its current level of operations.  (Morita)

HB 2968    MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE WAIANAE       HLT, FIN
        COAST COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH CENTER.
        Makes appropriation to the Waianae Coast Comprehensive
        Health Center for emergency services. (Auwae)

HB 3017    MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR MOLOKAI GENERAL   HLT, FIN
        HOSPITAL.
        Appropriates $850,000 for operating costs for Molokai
        General Hospital. (Kaho'ohalahala)

HB 1906    RELATING TO LICENSING OF PSYCHOLOGISTS.       HLT, CPC
        Amends definition of "professional psychology training
        program."  Allows graduates of such programs in
        institutions of higher education approved by a state,

 
        in addition to those accredited regionally, to obtain
        a Hawaii license. (Kahikina)

        PROPOSED HD1:  Requires 1 registered nurse member of
        the board of nursing to be an APRN.  Replaces 1 of 2 
        licensed practical nurse board members, upon first
        vacancy after effective date, with a registered nurse
        board member. (Kanoho)
