HS 2279 HD1      RELATING TO HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALSHHS, CPN
        Establishes scope of practice investigatory panel in
        DCCA and requires analysis and recommendation on any
        legislative proposal that proposes to expand scope of
        practice of health profesionals.  Creates positions.

HB 1275 HD1      RELATING TO HOSPITAL VIOLENCE     HHS, JDC
        Requires all hopitals to have security plans and
        provides criteria; requires reporting.

HB 1387 HD2      RELATING TO NURSES                HHS, CPN
        Amends the requirements for Board of Nursing
        membership.

HB 2156 HD2      MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR BASIC DENTAL
        SERVICES FOR ADULTS                        HHS, WAM
        Appropriates funds for start-up costs and dental
        services for indigent adults and requires these
        services to be provided through community-based health
        centers and other safety net providers.

        DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW, IF TIME PERMITS
        
Persons wishing to testify should submit 20 copies of their
testimony with two holes at the top, to the committee clerk, Room
228, State Capitol, 24 hours prior to the hearing. Testimony may
also be faxed if less than 5 pages in length, to the Senate
Sergeant-At-Arms Office at 586-6659 (toll free for neighbor
islands), at least 24 hours prior to the hearing. When faxing,
please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the
date and time of the hearing, and the required number of copies
needed for submittal. 

If you require special assistance or auxiliary aids or services
to participate in the public hearing process (i.e., sign language
interpreter, wheelchair accessibility, or parking designated for

 
the disabled), please contact the committee clerk 24 hours prior
to the hearing so arrangements can be made.
