HB 2619 HD1   RELATING TO NOISE.
HSCR 64-00    Allows contruction and maintenance work on the freeway and freeway
           ramps between Nuuanu Avenue and Sixth Avenue on Oahu to
           temporarily exceed state noise standards without a variance.

HB 1764       RELATING TO THE METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION.
HSCR 3-00     Increases MPO members from 13 to 15 by adding the chairperson of
           the citizens' advisory group and a citizen member appointed by the
           governor who represents the private sector transportation
           industry. (TRN,FIN)

HB 1910 HD1   RELATING TO METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATIONS.
HSCR 29-00    Creates a metropolitan planning organization in counties with
           populations of over 50,000. (TRN,FIN)

HB 1759 HD1   RELATING TO TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT.
HSCR 30-00    Extends length of the three-year photo red light imaging and photo
           speed imaging detector demonstration project for two more years.
           Allows the use of photo technology systems to identify drivers in
           violation of designated uses of high occupancy vehicle lanes.
           Authorizes the department of transportation to retain and pay
           contractors for the project. (TRN,FIN)

HB 2522 HD1   RELATING TO ADVANCE HEALTH-CARE DIRECTIVES.
HSCR 379-00   Allows individuals to designate on their driver's licenses and
           civil identification cards the existence of advance health-care
           directives. (JHA,FIN)

HB 2418       RELATING TO CERTIFICATES OF IDENTIFICATION.
HSCR 343-00   Changes the expiration dates of State civil identification cards
           to coincide with cardholder birthdays; and allows renewal by mail
           for the elderly. (JHA,FIN)

HB 303 HD1    RELATING TO IDENTIFICATION.
HSCR 406-00   Creates a new felony for sale or manufacture of deceptive
           identification documents. (JHA,FIN)
 
HB 2292 HD1   RELATING TO CRIME VICTIM COMPENSATION.
HSCR 225-00   Authorizes payment of compensation for mental health counseling,
           in the case of mass casualty, for deceased victim's relative,
           witness, or individual engaged in business or educational
           activities at scene. (PSM/JHA,FIN)
