The following Senate Bills are deleted from the agenda:

SB 2268     RELATING TO ETHICS
         Provides that collaborative projects between the
         University of Hawaii faculty and private entities,
         the participation by university personnel in private
         startup enterprises, and the allocation of
         intellectual property developed at the university
         are not precluded under the state ethics code. 

SB 2396     RELATING TO ETHICS
         Provides that the joint ownership of intellectual
         property rights between the University of Hawaii and
         its faculty or staff and the sole ownership of
         intellectual property rights by university faculty
         pursuant to a collective bargaining agreement are not
         conflicts of interest under the state ethics code.

The following Senate Bills are being added to the agenda:

SB 2962     RELATING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII     EDU/JDC, WAM
         Requires service of process on the University to be
         made by delivering a copy of the complaint to the
         University General Counsel or to an Associate General
         Counsel.  Requires all settlements and judgements to
         be paid from State general fund. (Mizuguchi, BR)

 
SB 2649     RELATING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII     EDU/JDC, WAM
         Creates procedure for service of process upon UH;
         establishes that settlements in claims against UH are
         paid out of legislative appropriations; and clarifies
         legal services provided by university general
         counsel.  (D. Ige; Sakamoto)

the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for
