Honorable Calvin K.Y. Say
Speaker, House of Representatives
Twentieth State Legislature
Regular Session of 2000
State of Hawaii

Sir:

Your Committee on Water and Land Use, to which was referred
S.C.R. No. 95 entitled:

"SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION URGING THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT
TO SHARE IN THE COST OF CONDUCTING A COMPREHENSIVE INVENTORY
OF CEDED LANDS IN THE STATE OF HAWAII,"

begs leave to report as follows:

States should bear the principal responsibility for inventory and

should move forward with their inventory and accounting proposed
in S.B. No. 2108, the State is asked to join in urging the United
