                   A  BILL  FOR  AN  ACT

RELATING TO THE PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION. 


BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 1      SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the public
 
 2 utilities commission special fund the sum of $          , or so
 
 3 much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2000-2001, to
 
 4 the public utilities commission to create and maintain an
 
 5 information and communication resource accessible through the
 
 6 World Wide Web.
 
 7      SECTION 2.  The sum appropriated shall be expended by the
 
 8 public utilities commission for the purposes of this Act.
 
 9      SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2000.
