                     A BILL FOR AN ACT

RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE
   SEVENTEENTH REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:


 1      SECTION 1.  The following sums, or so much thereof as shall
 
 2 be sufficient to finance the projects in the seventeenth
 
 3 representative district listed in this Act, are hereby
 
 4 appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii
 
 5 for fiscal 2000-2001.
 
 6 1.   To be expended by the Department of Accounting and General
 
 7 Services:
 
 8      A.   Kaimuki Middle School, Oahu
 
 9           Design and construction for air conditioning and solar
 
10           energy power system for building R; equipment and
 
11           appurtenances.
 
12           Design                                          $40,000
 
13           Construction                                   $624,000
 
14           Total Funding                                  $664,000
 
15      B.   John H. Wilson Elementary School, Oahu
 
16           Plans, design, and construction for playground
 
17           equipment, including ground resurfacing to meet federal
