                   A  BILL  FOR  AN  ACT

RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE
   FIFTY-FIRST REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 1      SECTION 1.  The following sums, or so much thereof as shall
 
 2 be sufficient to finance the capital projects listed in this Act,
 
 3 are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State
 
 4 of Hawaii for fiscal year 2000-2001.
 
 5      1.  To be expended by the department of accounting and
 
 6 general services:
 
 7      A.   Waimanalo elementary and intermediate school, Oahu
 
 8           Construction to resurface and expand the parking area.
 
 9           Construction                                   $150,000
 
10           Total funding                                   150,000
 
11      B.   Blanche Pope elementary school, Oahu
 
12           Construction for playground.
 
13           Construction                                     65,000
 
14           Total funding                                    65,000
 
15      C.   Lanikai elementary school
 
16           Design, construction, and equipment for an
 
17           administration/cafeteria building.

10           cells, chlorine mixing, contact chamber, and dissolved
 
11           air floatation thickener, and structural and mechanical
 
12           work.

 1      SECTION 2.  The sums appropriated for the respective capital
 
 2 projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the
 
 3 designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
 
 4      SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2000.
