                   A  BILL  FOR  AN  ACT

RELATING TO USE OF PUBLIC BUILDINGS BY BLIND VENDORS.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 1      SECTION 1.  Section 102-14, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is
 
 2 amended by amending subsection (g) to read as follows:
 
 3      "(g)  This section shall not apply to the judiciary history
 
 4 center facilities in the Aliiolani Hale building, University of
 
 5 Hawai`i system, public library system facilities, department of
 
 6 education facilities, department of transportation airport and
 
 7 harbor restaurant and lounge facilities and operations, public
 
 8 parks, the convention center facility developed pursuant to
 
 9 chapter 206X, and state and county facilities designed and
 
10 intended for use as facilities for entertainment and other public
 
11 events."
 
12      SECTION 2.  New statutory material is underscored.
 
13      SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
