                   A  BILL  FOR  AN  ACT

RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE
   NINETEENTH REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 1      SECTION 1.  The following sums, or so much thereof as shall
 
 2 be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are
 
 3 hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of
 
 4 Hawaii for fiscal year 1999-2000.
 
 5      A.   Kaimuki intermediate school, Oahu
 
 6           Design and construction to air condition the
 
 7           classrooms.
 
 8           Design                                          $15,000
 
 9           Construction                                     35,000
 
10           Total funding                                    50,000
 
11      B.   President Thomas Jefferson elementary school, Oahu
 
12           Design and construction to air condition the classrooms
 
13           and administration building.

 1      SECTION 2.  The sums appropriated for the capital projects
 
 2 set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the department of
 
 3 accounting and general services for the purposes of this Act.
 
 4      SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 1999.
