HB 498   MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE HANALEI HERITAGE RIVER OFFICE.
                                                             WLU/OMR,FIN
      Appropriates funds for the Hanalei Heritage River Office.
HB 1183  RELATING TO BEACH LANDS.                               WLU/OMR,FIN
      Provides for the restoration of beach lands within the State's
      shoreline area.  Establishes a beach restoration fund.
HB 1189  RELATING TO THE COASTAL AREAS PROGRAM.                 WLU/OMR,FIN
      Deletes controlling shoreline erosion and the repair of seawalls
      from the responsibilities of the Board of Land and Natural
      Resources.

HB 395   RELATING TO REAL PROPERTY.                             WLU,JHA,FIN
      Amends Landowner Liability Law as to recreational use to clarify
      purpose and include state and county governments, include duty of
      care provisions, relieve landowner from duty to investigate risks,
      and hold user liable for attorneys fees and court costs if
      landowner prevails pursuant to chapter 520.
HB 582   RELATING TO LANDOWNER LIABILITY.                           WLU,JHA
      Grants property owners immunity from civil liability incurred when
      a person is injured on the owner's land while engaging in a
      "recreational purpose".
HB 1253  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO AID EFFICIENT MANAGEMENT OF LAKE
      WILSON.
                                                                 WLU,FIN
      Appropriates $262,000 for efficient management of Lake Wilson,
      including establishment of a permanent position of Lake Keeper,
      and construction of a small office/laboratory, and acquisition of
      a 16-foot boat.
HB 1282  RELATING TO THE HONOKAA-PAAULIO IRRIGATION DISTRICT.       WLU,FIN

 
      Authorizes the Department of Agriculture to establish water tolls
      to cover the cost of running the Honokaa-Paaulio Irrigation
      District.
HB 810   MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A WAIALUA-HALEIWA STORMWATER DRAINAGE
      MASTER PLAN.                                               WLU,FIN
      Appropriates $500,000 for a Waialua-Haleiwa stormwater drainage
      master plan.
HB 921   APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE KAENA POINT COASTAL RESERVE.   WLU,FIN
      Appropriates $1,659,414 for FY 1999-2000, of which $1,537,000 is
      for the Kaena Point coastal reserve development costs, and
      $122,214 shall be for the Kaena point coastal reserve operating
      costs.
HB 1378  RELATING TO HISTORIC PRESERVATION.                         WLU,JHA
      Amends the historic preservation law to provide that the intensity
      of use of historic properties shall be in keeping with allowable
      ranges found in the underlying zoning districts.
HB 438   RELATING TO WATERSHED MANAGEMENT.                          WLU,FIN
      Creates a watershed protection trust fund.
HB 1751  RELATING TO PUBLIC LANDS.                                  WLU,FIN
      Allows church lots, granted in the 19th century with the intention
      that the sites be devoted to school or religious purposes, to be
      grandfathered under P.L. 84-481, 70 Sts. 104 to allow the use of
      not more than one-half acre for non-eleemosynary purposes.
HB 1703  RELATING TO WAIMANALO.                                     WLU,FIN
      Extends sunset date of Act 257, Session Laws of Hawaii 1996.
HB 718   RELATING TO THE HAWAII COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY.    WLU,FIN
      Authorizes the Hawaii community development authority to issue
      bonds not to exceed $250,000,000.
