S.B. 234 RELATING TO THE USE OF LEGISLATIVE ALLOWANCES   WAM
        Requires legislators to make a written disclosure of
        publications that are produced with legislative
        allowance funds.

S.B. 542 RELATING TO BUDGETING                           WAM
        Provides limitations on the modification or reduction
        of budgetary allotments by the governor.

S.B. 654 RELATING TO LEGISLATIVE AGENCIES                WAM
        Provides for first deputies for the Ombudsman,
        Legislative Reference Bureau, Legislative Auditor, and
        Legislative Analyst to be subject to the advice and
        consent of the joint legislative management committee.

S.B. 1237  RELATING TO FEES                                WAM
        Requires that all departmental fees adopted through
        administrative rules be approved by the legislature.

S.B. 1241  RELATING TO PUBLIC ACCESS                       WAM
        Appropriates $20,000 for moving and equipment costs of
        the public access room.

S.B. 1242  RELATING TO THE LEGISLATURE                     WAM
        Appropriates funds for the office of the legislative
        analyst and Auditor.  Transfers responsibility for
        analyzing new special and revolving funds from Auditor
        to Legislative Analyst.

 


 
S.B. 1334  RELATING TO LEGISLATIVE MATERIALS               WAM
        Replaces the Lieutenant Governor with the Revisor of
        Statutes as the party responsible for the sale and
        distribution of session laws, supplements, replacement
        volumes, and legislative journals.

S.B. 1508  RELATING TO GOVERNMENT                          WAM
        Provides for the implementation of performance-based
        budgeting for state government agencies.  Requires
        performance-based budgets to be submitted to the
        legislature for review by the legislative analyst.
        Appropriates funds for the office of the legislative
        analyst.


        DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW, IF TIME PERMITS.


Persons wishing to testify should submit 35 copies of their
testimony to the committee clerk, Room 210, State Capitol, 24
hours prior to the hearing. Testimony may also be faxed if less
than 5 pages in length, to the Senate Sergeant-At-Arms Office at
586-6659 or 1-800-586-6659 (toll free for neighbor islands), at
least 24 hours prior to the hearing.  When faxing, please
indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and
time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for
submittal.

If you require special assistance or auxiliary aids or services
to participate in the public hearing process (i.e., sign language
interpreter, wheelchair accessibility, or parking designated for
the disabled), please contact the committee clerk 24 hours prior
to the hearing so arrangements can be made.

Public Folder.  A folder labeled "Public Folder" containing the
measures and testimonies for the hearing will be available for
shared use by members of the public.
