SB 588        RELATING TO SEX OFFENDERS                   PSM,JHA
  SD1 HD1     Requires the sharing of all relevant criminal,
           medical, psychological, or mental health records of
           sex offenders. (SB588 HD1)

SB 823        RELATING TO SENTENCING                      HSH,JHA
  SD1 HD1     Requires courts, in imposing a sentence, to
           consider the fact that the crime was committed in
           the presence of a minor as an aggravating factor of
           the crime.  Recommends the revision of family court
           sentencing guidelines to consider two additional
           aggravating factors. (SB823 HD1)

SB 635        RELATING TO SUBSTANCE ABUSE TESTING         LAB,JHA
  SD1 HD1     Provides for substance abuse on-site screening
           testing.  (SB635 HD1)

SB 737        RELATING TO NOISE                           EEP,JHA
  SD2 HD1     Exempts small construction projects from the permit
           requirements of the noise pollution law; provided
           that the department of health is notified of the
           project.  (SB737 HD1)


 
SB 738        RELATING TO NOISE POLLUTION                 EEP,JHA
  SD1 HD1     Shortens the allowable period for the permit review
           process for noise pollution permits from 180 days
           to 30 days.  (SB738 HD1)

SB 798        RELATING TO NOISE                           EEP,JHA
  SD2 HD1     Clarifies jurisdiction regarding noise control.

SB 1149       RELATING TO ENFORCEMENT OF WAGE LAWS        LAB,JHA
  SD1 HD1     Clarifies that attorney's fees and other costs of
           the opposing party shall not be assessed against
           the Director of Labor and Industrial Relations in
           cases involving the collection of unpaid wages.
           Increases violations, penalties, and suspensions
           for repeated violations involving the wage
           violations, non-payment of  penalties.  (SB1149

SB 1091       RELATING TO AQUATIC RESOURCES               OMR,JHA
  SD1 HD1     Standardizes the various penalty sections,
           establishes minimum fines, and establishes separate
           and graduated penalties for chapters 187A, 188,
           189, and 190, Hawaii Revised Statutes. (SB 1091
           HD1)
