HB 102 HD1     RELATING TO WAGE PAYMENTS                  LAB,JHA
            Clarifies that the penalty applied to employers
            for unjustified wage withholding will be equal to
            the amount of unpaid wages and interest at a rate
            of six per cent per year from the date the wages
            were due.  (HB102 HD1)

HB 162         RELATING TO PUBLIC SERVICE                 LMG,JHA
            Clarifies the scope of the subpoena powers of
            legislative bodies by removing statutory
            references to repealed Chapter 85 of the Hawaii
            Revised Statutes.

HB 67          RELATING TO CIVIL JUSTICE REFORM               JHA
            Limits recovery for all noneconomic damages in
            tort actions to $500,000.  Codifies court rule
            relating to offers of judgement.  Requires payment
            of reasonable attorneys's fees and court costs to
            encourage pre-trial settlements.  Limits punitive
            damages awards.
