HB 1181    RELATING TO AQUATIC RESOURCES                 ECD, JDC
HD1 SD1    Clarifies and consolidates the provisions relating to
(SB 1091)  aquatic resources under subtitle 5 of title 12, HRS.

HB 1186    RELATING TO WILDLIFE PENALTIES                ECD, JDC
(SB 1096)  Updates and clarifies the penalty provisions relating
        to wildlife management.

HB 582     RELATING TO LANDOWNER LIABILITY               WLH, JDC
HD2 SD1    Amends the definition of land in section 520-2, Hawaii
        Revised Statutes (HRS), to include unimproved
        government-owned trails established under section
        198D-6, HRS.  States that the definition does not
        include any land used for any commercial purpose.

Note: Some House bills on this notice have a Senate companion
with substantially similar language, noted in parenthesis, which
were previously heard by this committee.  Written testimony for
House companion bills are encouraged, however, testifiers are
requested to focus oral testimony on comments not previously
submitted, or stand on their written testimony.

Persons wishing to testify should submit 25 copies of their
testimony to the committee clerk, Room 227, State Capitol, 24
hours prior to the hearing. Testimony may also be faxed if less
than 5 pages in length, to the Senate Sergeant-At-Arms Office at
586-6659 or 1-800-586-6659 (toll free for neighbor islands), at
least 24 hours prior to the hearing.  When faxing, please
indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and
time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for
submittal.
