           Appropriates funds for the Head Start Program.

H.B. 630   RELATING TO THE GENERAL FUND         HSH/HLT, FIN
           Requires the department of budget and finance to

 
           dedicate specified percentages of the amount in the
           general fund each year for ten years to programs
           relating to preceonceptual, perinatal, early inter-
           vention and family support services to age 5.

H.B. 1061   RELATING TO GRANTS AND SUBSIDIES     HSH/HLT, FIN
           Authorizes the director of finance to specify the con-
           ditions for the release of a grant or subsidy appro-
           priation to ensure that the funds are used as intended
           by the legislature.  (Say)

H.B. 1413   RELATING TO QUEST                    HSH/HLT, FIN
           Requires DHS to compensate community health centers
           treating QUEST patients based on risk factor
           adjustment.  (Ahu Isa)

H.B. 1614   RELATING TO THE MEDICALLY UNDERSERVED HSH/HLT, FIN
           Makes appropriations for DHS and DOH to support
           primary care for medically underserved populations.

H.B. 92    RELATING TO FAMILY CHILD CARE        HSH, CPC/JHA
           Includes condominiums and apartments as types of
           residences eligible to be used as child care facili-
           ties for unrelated children.  (Takai)

H.B. 348   RELATING TO DISCRIMINATION IN        HSH, CPC/JHA
           REAL PROPERTY
           Gives the right to impose reasonable occupancy limits
           in a sleeping area.  (Yamane)

H.B. 1568   RELATING TO CHILD PLACING            HSH, FIN
           ORGANIZATIONS
           Exempts nonprofit child placing organizations from
           financial audits.  (Moses)

H.B. 588   RELATING TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE        HSH, JHA
           Amends definition of family or household member to 
           include persons with a dating history.  (Oshiro)

H.B. 1485   RELATING TO DISTRICT COURT           HSH, JHA
           Eliminates requirement that multiple offenses be
           charged "through complaint or indictment" with re-
           spect to district court's concurrent jurisdiction
           of abuse of family or household offenses, when
           multiple offenses are involved, of which at least one
           is within the jurisdiction of the district court.

           Appropriates funds for domestic violence victims

           Retains federal funds awarded to the department of
           human services for superior performance within the

           Makes an appropriation for homeless shelters.  (Case).
