	The purpose of this briefing is to hear presentations on the following:



    


      


    1. An overview of the purpose, duties, organization, and governance of the 
Hawaii Public Employees Health Fund (Health Fund);
      2. 


    2. The responsibility of the state and county executive branches, the 
Legislature, and the Board of Trustees of the Health Fund in shaping financial 
and management policy of the Health Fund;
      3. 


    3. An overview of Union Health Plans and the concept of porting; and
      4. 


    4. An overview of the employer-trust fund concept.
