        Provides an income tax incentive for employers an
integral element of the State's workforce development initiatives
as well as encouraging employers to offer prepaid health care
benefits to employees that are otherwise not entitled to
mandatory coverage. (Say B/R)


 


 
H.B. 1157  Relating to the Medical Use of         HLT/PSM, JHA
        Marijuana

        Ensures that severely and terminally ill patients are
not penalized by the State for obtaining and using marijuana
strictly for medical purposes. (Say B/R)

H.B. 1341  Relating to the Medical Use of         HLT, PSM/JHA
        Marijuana

        Allows for the acquisition, possession, cultivation,
distribution, transportation, administration, and use of
marijuana for medical purposes. (Santiago B/R)

H.B. 1144  Relating to the Training of Emergency      HLT, FIN
        Medical Services Personnel

        Authorizes the DOH to approve the curricula and
syllabi of training courses for basic, intermediate, and advanced
life support emergency ambulance personnel. (Say B/R)

H.B. 1146  Relating to Vital Record Fees              HLT, FIN

        Proposes the continuation of funding to improve the
vital statistics system, and prevention of domestic violence and
sexual assault. (Say B/R)

H.B. 325 Relating to Health                         HLT, CPC
        
        Requires that medical directors of managed health care
plans be licensed to practice medicine in Hawaii. (Santiago)

H.B. 1274  Relating to Traumatic Brain Injury         HLT, FIN

        Appropriates money to the DOH to develop a statewide
strategic plan for the treatment and rehabilitation of survivors
with traumatic brain injuries. (Yamane)

H.B. 1451  Relating to Mental Health                  HLT, JHA

        Amends procedures relating to court orders for
emergency examination and hospitalization. (Say B/R)

H.B. 662 Relating to Health Care Professional       HLT, CPC
        Licensing

        Requires certain health care providers to submit
academic and professional information to their licensing boards
as matters of public record. (Menor B/R)
