SB 1451  RELATING TO YOUTH SERVICES                  HHS,WAM

        Establishes within the office of the governor for
        administrative purpose, a temporary task force to
        develop a master plan for the office of youth services
        (OYS).  Requires the auditor to conduct a management
        and program audit of all operations of the OYS.
        Sunsets the task force on June 30, 2001.

SB 1499  RELATING TO THE RANDOLPH-SHEPPARD           HHS,WAM
        REVOLVING ACCOUNT

        Allows Randolph-Sheppard revolving account to be used
        to hire private attorneys for the state committee of
        blind vendors.  Requires transfer of $30,000 annually
        from the account to the state committee's bank
        account.

SB 513   RELATING TO FAMILY CHILD CARE               HHS,GOH

        Includes condominiums, apartments, and townhouses as
        types of residences eligible to be used as child care
        facilities.


 
 
 


 
SB 120   MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE KAUAI FOOD   HHS,WAM
        BANK, INC

        Appropriates $60,000 as a grant-in-aid to Kauai Food
        Bank, Inc.

SB 228   MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ESTABLISH MAUI   HHS,WAM
        FOOD BANK, INC

        Appropriates $40,000 as a grant-in-aid to establish
        Maui Food Bank, Inc.

SB 1197  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE WAIANAE     HHS,WAM
        COAST COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH CENTER

        Makes appropriation to the Waianae Coast Comprehensive
        Health Center for emergency services.

SB 1229  RELATING TO HOUSING                         HHS,WAM

        Creates a revolving fund for homeless assistance;
        amends conveyance tax law to allow 12.5% of conveyance
        tax revenues to be paid into the rental housing trust
        fund and 12.5% in the homeless assistance fund;
        appropriates $70,000 for capital improvements to
        Barbers Point for ADA compliance and utilities
        installation.

SB 122   MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PLAN AND DEVELOP  HHS,WAM
        THE HAWAII GERIATRIC RESEARCH AND TRAINING
        CENTER AT KULA

        Appropriates $500,000 to the Hawaii Geriatric Research
        and Training Center at Kula Hospital.

hearing.  When faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is
being submitted, the date and time of the hearing, and the
required number of copies needed for submittal.
