SB 130   MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR EWA VILLAGES    HHS,WAM
        COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION


        Appropriates moneys to issue grants out of the general
        fund to support Ewa Villages Community Development
        Corporation.  Requires grants to benefit the frail
        elderly, medically fragile infants and children, and
        their families and caregivers in the community.

SB 200   RELATING TO SPECIAL PURPOSE REVENUE BONDS   HHS,WAM
        FOR THE EWA VILLAGES COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT 
        CORPORATION

        Authorizes a special purpose revenue bond to assist
        the Ewa Villages Community Development Corporation in
        financing the development and construction of the Ewa
        Villages Project.

SB 128   MAKING AN APPRORIATION TO ESTABLISH A LONG-  HHS,WAM
        TERM CARE VOLUNTEER OMBUDSMAN PROGRAM

        Appropriates funds to DOH to establish a long term
        care volunteer ombudsman program.

 
 
SB 866   MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A DEMONSTRATION  HHS,WAM
        PROJECT FOR LONG-TERM CARE

        Appropriates funds to establish a long-term care
        managed care waiver.

SB 994   RELATING TO DEPENDENT ADULT AND ELDER       HHS,WAM
        ABUSE

        Establishes an elder abuse commission to review the
        dependent adult protection law & to report to
        legislature.

SB 856   RELATING TO LONG-TERM CARE RESIDENTIAL      HHS,WAM
        CARE

        Consolidates and provides for uniform regulation of
        various adult residential care facilities and promotes
        parity of reimbursement for services provided.
        Establishes an information and referral process
        through appropriations to the DOH to fund the
        executive office on aging to implement a statewide
        initial information and referral screening.  Requires
        use of a uniform assessment tool. Effective 07/01/99.

hours prior to the hearing. Testimony may also be faxed if less
than 5 pages in length, to the Senate Sergeant-At-Arms Office at

least 24 hours prior to the hearing.  When faxing, please
indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and
time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for
submittal.
