SB 1518  RELATING TO GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS          GOH, WAM
        Requires all state departments to develop goals
        and objectives for one, two and five years; 
        submitted annually shall be used for the budget. (TAM)


SB 960   RELATING TO PROCUREMENT                    GOH, WAM
        Requires the department of accouting and general
        services to place all small purchases and all state
        contract awards on the State of Hawaii website.

SB 1217  RELATING TO PROCUREMENT                    GOH, WAM
        Authorizes state and county agencies to purchase
        products and services from a contractor who has a
        contract with the Federal Government at the prices
        and terms of the contract.  (D.IGE/SAKAMOTO/FUKUNAGA/
        TAM/CHUMBLEY/SLOM)


SB 682   RELATING TO GOVERNMENT                     GOH, WAM
        Provides 15% preference to resident contractors;
        requires subcontractors to also be residents;
        penalties assessed.  (KAWAMOTO)


SB 1005  RELATING TO PUBLIC CONTRACTS               GOH, WAM
        Requires general contractors to pay a subcontractor
        within three days of receipt of payment from the 
        state. Penalties are fines and debarment.  (TAM)





 


 
SB 1076  RELATING TO STATE RISK MANAGEMENT          GOH, WAM
        Requires the state comptroller to report on 
        benefits received under the state risk management
        revolving fund to include apportioned amounts. (CHUN)


SB 1328  RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF GOVERNMENT GOH, WAM
        BY PRINCIPLE IN SPECIFIED PROGRAMS IN THE 
        EXECUTIVE BRANCH OF STATE GOVERNMENT
        Self-governed program defined; orgainzation and
        operations; exempt from chapter 37; exempt from
        civil service rules; receives all benefits; 
        includes collective bargaining increase; may be
        offered civil service positions.  (MIZUGUCHI BR)


SB 971   RELATING TO FREEDOM FROM GOVERNMENT        GOH, WAM
        COMPETITION
        Except for inherent government functions, goods
        and services are obtained from the private sector.

indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and
time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for
submittal.
