SB 5 SD2 HD1       RELATING TO AGRICULTURAL LOANS.
HSCR 1364          Provides agricultural loans to qualified farmers to export crops
                and livestock and to farmers who are the subject of state
                eradication programs.  Appropriates funds from the agricultural
                loan revolving fund to farmers in economically depressed areas.

SB 1062 SD1        RELATING TO AGRICULTURAL PARK LEASES.
HSCR 1363          Expands the eligibility for agricultural park leases to include
                revocable living trusts and limited liability companies. (AGR,FIN)


SB 1097 SD2 HD1    RELATING TO TIMBER MANAGEMENT.
HSCR 1179          Expands the scope of the forest stewardship fund to include
                reforestation and maintenance of harvested plantation areas,
                enhancement of public forest reserves, and development of
                environmental education and training programs for the public.

SB 607 SD1 HD1     RELATING TO FIREARMS.
HSCR 1297          Repeals prohibition for non-resident aliens to bring firearms into

SB 942 SD1 HD1     RELATING TO HUNTING.
HSCR 1176          Requires DLNR to manage and preserve wildlife sanctuaries for
                public hunting; adds definition of "game management area".

SB 1080            RELATING TO PLANNING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.
HSCR 1177          Continue to give responsibility for review and approval of special
                management area and shoreline setback permits to the Office of
 
                Planning of the Department of Business, Economic Development, and

SB 1082 SD2 HD1    RELATING TO THE BUREAU OF CONVEYANCES.
HSCR 1178          Establishes a Bureau of Conveyances Special Fund and dedicates a
                portion of fees collected by the Bureau to the fund. (WLU,FIN)

SB 1011 HD1        RELATING TO THE STATE FOUNDATION ON CULTURE AND THE ARTS.
HSCR 1226          Amends the law relating to the SFCA by clarifying the roles of the
                commission, executive director, and foundation staff.  Specifies
                that agencies receiving capital improvement appropriations are
                responsible for calculating the 1% due to the works of art special
                fund. (CAR,FIN)


SB 1138 SD1 HD1    RELATING TO THE HAWAII PUBLIC BROADCASTING AUTHORITY.
HSCR 1398          Transfers all licenses, assets, responsibilities, and functions of
                the Hawaii Public Broadcasting Authority to the Hawaii Public
                Television Foundation. (CAR,FIN)


SB 1185 SD2 HD1    RELATING TO THE STATE AQUARIUM.
HSCR 1336          Allows current management arrangements at the state aquarium to
                continue indefinitely. (CAR/HED,FIN)
