HB 140        RELATING TO PUBLIC-PRIVATE INFRASTRUCTURE PARTNERSHIPS.
HSCR 350      Creates a public-private infrastructure program to transfer projects to
           improve infrastructure systems and facilities from the State and local
           governments to the private sector or to expedite and allow the creation
           of infrastructure systems and facilities. (EDB,FIN)


HB 838        RELATING TO LEASED EMPLOYEES AND EMPLOYERS OF LEASED EMPLOYEES.
HSCR 608      Exempts from the general excise tax amounts received by employee
           leasing companies that are received and charged for leased employees'
           compensation and benefit amounts. (EDB,FIN)


HB 899        MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR DRUG TREATMENT, COUNSELING, AND
HSCR 553      INTERVENTION SERVICES AT KING INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL.
           Appropriates $90,000 in FY 1999-2000 and FY 2000-2001 for substance
           abuse treatment, counseling, and intervention services at King
           Intermediate School. (EDN,FIN)


HB 938 HD1    RELATING TO LITTER CONTROL.
HSCR 406      Appropriates funds to the department of health for litter control
           programs. (EEP,FIN)


HB 1653 HD1   MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE ALA WAI CANAL WATERSHED IMPROVEMENT
HSCR 569      PROJECT.
           Appropriates funds to implement capital improvement projects in the Ala
           Wai canal watershed. (WLU,FIN)


HB 967 HD2    RELATING TO THE HAWAIIAN LANGUAGE COLLEGE.
HSCR 511      Allows the Hawaiian Language College to contract directly with
           providers when contracting in the Hawaiian language.  Also repeals
           language prohibiting the use of general funds for the Hawaiian Language
           College. (HED,JHA,FIN)


HB 151 HD1    RELATING TO TEACHERS.
HSCR 142      Appropriates funds for teacher recruitment and teacher training.

HSCR 635      Allows deputy sheriffs to become class A members of the Employees'
           Retirement System. (LAB,FIN)


HB 499 HD1    RELATING TO THE EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM.
HSCR 634      Allows conservation and resources law enforcement officers to become
           class A members of the Employees' Retirement System. (LAB,FIN)


HB 1726 HD1   RELATING TO FAMILY HEALTH SERVICES.
HSCR 654      Appropriates funds to provide necessary funds to enable the department
           of human services to raise the income eligibility level for the
           medically needy program to one hundred thirty-three per cent of the
           assistance allowance. (HSH/HLT,FIN)


HB 1624 HD1   RELATING TO CAPTIVE INSURANCE.
HSCR 389      Authorizes license and renewal fees and other fees of captive insurance
           companies to be set by the insurance commissioner. (CPC,FIN)
