HB 1649 HD1   RELATING TO THE CONVEYANCE TAX.
HSCR 331      Exempts from the conveyance tax, transfers of real property or any
           interest therein, in connection with the conversion of a general or
           limited partnership to a limited liability company or corporation, or
           vice versa. (CPC,FIN)

HB 1077 HD1   RELATING TO LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANIES.
HSCR 442      Amend the Hawaii Limited Liability Company Act of Chapter 428, Hawaii
           Revised Statutes, to conform with amendments made to the uniform
           Limited Liability Company Act that was drafted and adopted by the
           National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws. (CPC,FIN)

HB 13 HD1     RELATING TO MUTUAL BENEFIT SOCIETIES.
HSCR 377      Clarifies applicability of nonprofit corporations law to formation of
           benefit societies. (CPC,FIN)

HB 1062 HD1   RELATING TO THE CODE OF FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS.
HSCR 715      Remove restrictions on establishment or acquisition of interstate
           branches in Hawaii by out-of-state banks. (CPC,FIN)

HB 1075       RELATING TO LENDER EXEMPTIONS.
HSCR 714      Relieve foreign lenders of certain licensing, registration, and
           regulatory requirements presently imposed by law. (CPC,FIN)

HB 314        RELATING TO THE STATE AQUARIUM.
HSCR 36       Allows current management arrangements at the state aquarium to
           continue indefinitely. (CAR/HED,FIN)

HB 389        RELATING TO EDUCATION.
HSCR 449      Appropriates funds to extend the funding of the Learn and Serve Hawaii
           program. (EDN,FIN)

HB 1087 HD1   RELATING TO EDUCATION.
HSCR 185      Allow the DOE to collect and expend tuition and other fees charged for
           out-of-school time instructional programs. (EDN,FIN)

HB 185        RELATING TO EDUCATION.
           Establishes maximum class sizes for the elementary grades. (FIN)

HB 310        RELATING TO PLANNING AND BUDGETING FOR NEW SCHOOLS.
HSCR 81       Requires funding for coaches' salaries, athletic health care trainers,
           athletic equipment and supplies, and the transportation of athletic
           teams to be considered standard workload increase items when planning
           and budgeting for new public schools. (EDN,FIN)

HB 560        RELATING TO HILO COMMUNITY SCHOOL FOR ADULTS.
HSCR 552      Authorizes DOE to convert to permanent status two temporary positions
