HB 1071 HD1   RELATING TO THE INSURANCE CODE.
HSCR 595      Exempts the Insurance Division's staff attorneys from State civil
           service laws. (LAB,CPC,FIN)

HB 1067 HD1   RELATING TO INSURANCE.
HSCR 385      Prescribes minimum continuing education in approved subjects for those
           in the insurance industry licensed by the DCCA. (CPC,FIN)

HB 791 HD1    RELATING TO REAL ESTATE BROKERS AND SALESPERSONS.
HSCR 703      Codifies real estate brokers' responsibilities including continuing
           education of associated real estate licensees and staff.  Combines
           existing real estate continuing education provisions into a single
           section and mandates that continuing education be based on current
           information, law, and rules. (CPC,FIN)

HB 1522       RELATING TO REAL PROPERTY APPRAISALS.
HSCR 330      Exempts county real property appraisers from law regulating real estate
           appraisers. (CPC,FIN)

HB 1139 HD1   RELATING TO CLINICAL LABORATORY PERSONNEL.
HSCR 444      Deletes the clinical laboratory supervisor category of licensure.  Adds
           the clinical laboratory specialist and clinical laboratory
           cytotechnologist categories of licensure.  Renames the laboratory
           technologist category as clinical laboratory scientist. (CPC,FIN)

HB 1136 HD1   RELATING TO THE DRUG FORMULARY.
HSCR 600      Permitting the Board of Health to designate the Orange Book, published
           by the FDA, as the state generic drug formulary. (CPC,FIN)

HB 154        RELATING TO PUBLIC TELEVISION.
HSCR 34       Transfers the assets of the Hawaii Public Broadcasting Authority to the
           Hawaii Public Television Foundation, a private not-for-profit
           organization. (CAR,FIN)

HB 1083 HD1   RELATING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE AND CONSUMER AFFAIRS.
HSCR 443      Combines most of DCCA special and revolving funds into DCCA
           compliance resolution fund, to be managed at a department-wide level
           to fund DCCA operations, and that would not be subject to central
           service, administrative expense reimbursement, or other general fund
           deductions or reversions.  (CPC,FIN)

HB 460 HD1    RELATING TO CHECK CASHING.
HSCR 437      Requires the registration of check-cashing businesses. (CPC,FIN)

HB 850 HD1    RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLE INSURANCE.
HSCR 486      Extends amnesty period for uninsured motorists. Eliminates proof of
           insurance as grounds for automatic administrative license suspension.

HB 1064       RELATING TO HAWAII HURRICANE RELIEF FUND BONDS.
HSCR 383      Extend the authorization to issue reimburable general obligation bonds
           for the purpose of the Hawaii Hurricane Relief Fund. (CPC,FIN)

HB 1533 HD1   RELATING TO PAWNBROKERS.
HSCR 706      Adds more penalties against pawnbrokers for failure to comply with
           their licensing laws.  Defines "suitable person".  Allows customer to
           make the choice of remedy where pawnbroker is liable. (CPC/JHA,FIN)

HB 354 HD1    MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A REVIEW OF THE CONDOMINIUM PROPERTY
HSCR 663      REGIMES LAW.
           Appropriates funds to conduct a comprehensive review of condominium
           property regimes law. (CPC,FIN)
