HB 801 HD1    RELATING TO SPECIAL PURPOSE REVENUE BONDS FOR PROCESSING ENTERPRISES.
HSCR 422      Authorizes the issuance of special purpose revenue bonds to assist
           CEATECH USA in planning and building a processing plant for shrimp.
           (AGR,FIN)

HB 949 HD1    RELATING TO AGRICULTURE.
HSCR 679      Directs the agribusiness development corporation to establish
           agricultural parks/developments in the most expeditious and cost-
           effective manner possible. Appropriates funds for this purpose.
           Stipulates that the Hawaii agricultural development revolving fund
           administered by the agribusiness development corporation shall be the
           depository for all revenues from assessments, tolls, and appropriations
           made by the legislature to the fund, and interest on investments
           attributable to agricultural parks/developments. (AGR,FIN)

HB 374 HD1    RELATING TO AGRICULTURE.
HSCR 319      Appropriates moneys to DOA to research and set up distribution
           facilities in 3 mainland states for Hawaii agricultural products.

HB 1280 HD1   RELATING TO AGRICULTURE.
HSCR 680      Changes the composition of the agribusiness development corporation
           (ADC) board.  Extends the repeal date of the ADC board under its new
           composition as specified in the bill for two years, until July 1, 2001.
           Enables ADC to develop, promote, assist, and market export crops and
           other crops for local markets without the board of agriculture's
           approval.  Appropriates funds for the ADC board. (AGR,FIN)

HB 941 HD1    RELATING TO FERTILIZERS.
HSCR 213      Establishes standards for waste-derived commercial fertilizers.

HB 1628       RELATING TO AGRICULTURAL LOANS.
HSCR 340      Creates a program that enables cooperating lenders to provide loan
           funds with the department of agriculture providing counseling, credit
           underwriting, collection, and loan servicing. (AGR,FIN)

HB 979 HD1    RELATING TO AGRICULTURAL LOANS.
HSCR 302      Includes credit unions under the definition of "private lender" for
           obtaining agricultural loans and reduces the number of required denials
           from three to two in the loan application process.  (AGR,FIN)

HB 978        RELATING TO AGRICULTURE.
HSCR 321      Provide the Agricultural Loan Division, of the Department of
           Agriculture, with a new streamlined program. (AGR,FIN)
