HB 98         RELATING TO PENSIONERS' BONUS.
HSCR 188      Extends ERS pensioners' bonus until July 1, 2001. (LAB,FIN)

HB 147 HD1    RELATING TO THE EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM.
HSCR 237      Requires the investment of a minimum level of employees' retirement
           system funds in Hawaii's economically-targeted investments, subject to
           minimum and maximum limits. (LAB,FIN)

HB 671        RELATING TO PENSION AND RETIREMENT SYSTEMS.
HSCR 190      Requires the employee's retirement system to recognize a division of
           property pursuant to a court order or divorce decree affecting the
           rights of the persons named in the order or decree to pension,
           retirement, or other benefits under chapter 88. (LAB,FIN)

HB 1035       RELATING TO THE EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM.
HSCR 239      Allow the Board of Trustees to appoint a chief investment officer and
           an assistant administrator who will serve at the pleasure of the Board.

HB 1036 HD1   RELATING TO INVESTMENTS OF THE EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM.
HSCR 355      Allows the board of trustees of the Employees' Retirement System to
           invest in real estate through limited liability companies and similar
           entities.  (LAB,FIN)

HB 142 HD1    RELATING TO PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT.
HSCR 711      Establish a representative task force to conduct a comprehensive review
           of Chapter 76 and 77, Hawaii Revised Statutes. (LAB,FIN)

HB 747 HD1    RELATING TO STATE GOVERNMENT.
HSCR 709      Requires the 3 executive departments selected pursuant to section 4 of
           Act 230 (1998) to begin the development of outcome measures to
           facilitate the transformation of the State's accounting system and the
           budgeting system to a performance-based budgeting system.  Defines
           "outcome measures".  Appropriates $1 to develop a performance-based
           budgeting system.  (LAB,FIN)

HB 534        RELATING TO PURCHASES OF SERVICE.
           Requires the governor to convene a task force to establish criteria
           with which to evaluate and rank all purchases of service.  Requires all
           state departments and their attached agencies to evaluate and rank
           purchases of service according to the established criteria.  Requires
           report to the legislature. (FIN)

HB 985        RELATING TO PROCUREMENT.
           Amend chapter 103D, Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS), the Hawaii public
           procurement code, to consolidate and clarify sections in the chapter
           and to amend or repeal related sections of the HRS to bring them into
           compliance with the code. (FIN)
