HB 982   RELATING TO AQUACULTURE                        ECD
(SB 1063) Removes reference to the management of aquaculture
         programs from the statutory purview of the Department
         of Land and Natural Resources.

HB 1181 HD1 RELATING TO AQUATIC RESOURCES             ECD, JDC
(SB 1091) Clarifies and consolidates the provisions relating to
         aquatic resources under subtitle 5 of title 12, HRS.

HB 34 HD2 RELATING TO AQUATIC RESOURCES                  ECD
         Allows the Department of Land and Natural Resources
         to adopt administrative rules relating to aquatic
         resource regulations that specify bag limits, sales
         restrictions, seasons, and regulation on fishing
         gear.

HB 1178 HD1 RELATING TO ENFORCEMENT                   ECD, JDC
(SB 1088 SD1)    Allows the department of land and natural
resources to sell or take action to cause the sale of perishable
natural resources that are seized.

HB 1179   RELATING TO COMMERCIAL MARINE LICENSES         ECD
(SB 1089 SD1)    Clarifies statutory provisions relating to
the issuance of commercial marine licenses. Changes requirement
for commercial fish catches reports.

HB 1173 HD1 RELATING TO BOATING ENFORCEMENT           ECD, WLH
(SB 1083) Authorizes the Board of Land and Natural Resources to
         delegate enforcement authority to other designated
         employees, in addition to conservation and resources
         enforcement officers, for the purpose of enforcement
         of boating and ocean recreation programs.

HB 1177 HD2 RELATING TO ABANDONED VESSELS             ECD, WAM
(SB 1087 SD1)    Allows private marinas and yacht clubs to
take into custody and dispose of vessels abandoned on their
premises.

HB 1186   RELATING TO WILDLIFE PENALTIES            ECD, JDC
(SB 1096) Updates and clarifies the penalty provisions relating
         to wildlife management.

HB 797 HD2  RELATING TO OUTDOOR RECREATION            ECD, WAM
         Allows for hunting of game birds by residents of
         foreign countries under certain circumstances.

Capitol, 24 hours prior to the hearing. Testimony may also be
faxed if less than 5 pages in length, to the Senate Sergeant-At-

islands), at least 24 hours prior to the hearing.  When faxing,
please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the
date and time of the hearing, and the required number of copies
needed for submittal.

If you require special assistance or auxiliary aids or services
to participate in the public hearing process (i.e., sign language
interpreter, wheelchair accessibility, or parking designated for
the disabled), please contact the committee clerk 24 hours prior
to the hearing so arrangements can be made.

shared use by members of the public.
