S.B. 804  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE ALOHA RACING ECD, WAM
       ENTRY IN AMERICA'S CUP 2000
       Appropriates funds to assist the Aloha Racing
       Foundation and the department of business, economic
       development, and tourism to bring the America's Cup
       Yacht Race to Hawaii.

S.B. 219  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE COFFEE INSPECTION ECD,
       WAM
       REVOLVING FUND TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INSPECTORS
       Appropriates unspecified amount to the coffee
       inspection revolving fund for inspectors.

S.B. 222  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE HAWAII      ECD, WAM
       AGRICULTURE RESEARCH CENTER
       Appropriates funds to Hawaii Agriculture Research
       Center.

S.B. 488  RELATING TO AGRICULTURE                     ECD, WAM
       Appropriates $200,000 to the DOA for fiscal 1999-2000
       to enable the Hawaii Organic Farmers Association to
       develop local and overseas markets for Hawaii grown
       organic produce.

S.B. 719  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PINEAPPLE RESEARCH ECD, WAM

 
       Appropriates $208,000 for each fiscal year of the
       biennium to provide the necessary funds to support
       pineapple research projects that focus on pest
       management, environmental research, and fruit quality
       at the University of Hawaii or the Hawaii Agriculture
       Research Center.

S.B. 784  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR BIG ISLAND PAPAYA  ECD, WAM
       INDUSTRY
       Makes appropriation to develop the big island papaya
       industry.

S.B. 786  AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION ECD, WAM
       BONDS AND MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A POST
       HARVEST FACILITY IN HILO
       Authorizes the issuance of GO bonds, and appropriates
       $2.5 million for the construction of a multi-porpose
       post harvest facility in Hilo.

S.B. 1614 RELATING TO AGRICULTURE                     ECD, WAM
       Allows the importation into the State of approved
       microorganisms without a permit and of restricted
       microorganisms with a permit.

S.B. 1629 MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF  ECD, WAM
       AGRICULTURE, AGRICULTURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
       DIVISION
       Appropriates funds as an interim subsidy to the
       department of agriculture until a water toll increase
       is put into effect.

spaced, stapled copies of their testimony with two holes punched
at the top to the committee clerk, Room 201, State Capitol, 24
hours prior to the hearing. Testimony may also be faxed if less
than 5 pages in length, to the Senate Sergeant-At-Arms Office at
586-6659 or 1-800-586-6659 (toll free for neighbor islands), at
least 24 hours prior to the hearing.  When faxing, please
indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and
time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for
submittal.

to participate in the public hearing process (i.e., sign language
interpreter, wheelchair accessibility, or parking designated for

to the hearing so arrangements can be made.
