S.B. 1431        RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN
AGRICULTURAL     ECD, WAM
      WATER SYSTEM FOR UPCOUNTRY MAUI
      Establishes a separate agricultural water supply and
      delivery system under the board of agriculture for the
      farms in upcountry Maui.

S.B. 522 RELATING TO THE INTRODUCTION AND IMPORTATION  ECD, WAM
      OF ALIEN PLANTS, ANIMALS, AND MICROORGANISMS
      Imposes a 2-year moratorium on the deliberate
      introduction and importation of any alien plant, animal,
      or microorganism species into the State except for the
      purpose of remediating medical emergencies or
      agricultural or ecological disasters, or the purpose of
      filming, performance, or exhibition.

S.B. 767 RELATING TO AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT LANDS      ECD, WLH
      Allows single family dwellings on but not used in
      connection with a farm, home occupations, and cottage
      industries on agricultural district lands.

S.B. 1211        RELATING TO AGRICULTURE           ECD, WLH
      Allows owners of agricultural lands to subdivide lands
      into parcels not less than 50 acres in size; provided
      that the subdivided lots are used for intensive
      agricultural purposes.  Allows security facilities to be
      built on agricultural lands.

S.B. 1064        MAKING AN EMERGENCY APPROPRIATION FORECD, WAM
      THE AGRIBUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
      Making an Emergency Appropriation for the Agribusiness
      Development Corporation.

S.B. 1220        RELATING TO AGRICULTURE           ECD, WAM
      Directs the agribusiness development corporation to
      provide for the planning, design, and construction of an
      agricultural subdivision in the Hamakua district of the
      island of Hawaii.  Appropriates $1 for that purpose, to
      be expended by the corporation.
