HB 1430       RELATING TO STATUTORY REVISION: AMENDING,                 JDC
HD1           REENACTING, OR REPEALING VARIOUS PROVISIONS OF THE HAWAII
           REVISED STATUTES AND THE SESSION LAWS OF HAWAII FOR THE
           PURPOSE OF CORRECTING ERRORS AND REFERENCES, CLARIFYING
           LANGUAGE, AND DELETING OBSOLETE OR UNNECESSARY PROVISIONS
           Amends, reenacts, or  repeals various provisions of
           the Hawaii Revised Statutes and the Session Laws of
           Hawaii for  the  purpose  of  correcting errors and
           references,  clarifying   language,   and  deleting
           obsolete or unnecessary provisions.

HB 77         RELATING TO REAL PROPERTY ENCROACHMENT                    JDC
HD1           Adds  industrial  property  to  types  of  property
           covered by the  structure position discrepancy law.
           Provides that the property owner is responsible for
           an  encroachment  where   the  property  owner  who
           constructed   the   improvement   is   not  readily
           identifiable.

HB 1492       RELATING TO OFFENSES AGAINST PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION        JDC
           Clarifies definition of "contraband" in the offense
           of promoting prison contraband in the 2nd degree to
           exclude dangerous instruments  and drugs, which are
           covered in promoting  prison  contraband in the 1st
           degree.

HB 1529       RELATING TO ROBBERY                                       JDC
HD1           Defines  the   elements   that  constitute  robbery
           offenses.

HB 500        RELATING TO FIREARMS                                      JDC
HD3           Allows nonresident  aliens  to  bring firearms into
           the State under certain conditions.
