SB 947        RELATING TO TELEMARKETING FRAUD                      CPN, JDC
SD1           Creates a  new  chapter  to  regulate telemarketing
           fraud.

SB 235        RELATING TO EMPLOYEE PROTECTION UNDER THE            LRE, JDC
SD1           WHISTLEBLOWER LAW
           Amends  the   Whistleblowers'   Protection  Act  by
           expanding areas of protected  conduct and the types
           of reportable violations.

SB 777        RELATING TO FORECLOSURES                             CPN, JDC
SD1           Makes  general   housekeeping   amendments  to  the
           alternate  power   of   sale  foreclosure  process,
           including  deleting  the  requirement  of  an  open
           house, clarifying that public notices be mailed and
           delivered rather than sent, and deleting the public
           information requirement for  lenders  using the new
           process.

SB 892        RELATING TO JUVENILES                                     JDC
           Amends the law  relating  to  family court juvenile
           records and hearings.

SB 918        RELATING TO MINORS                                        JDC
           Permits   court   in   certain   cases   to   waive
           jurisdiction of  other  felony  charges  related to
           charge for which  minor  is  waived.   Provides for
           public inspection of a minor's legal records if the
           proceeding or case involves an act resulting in the
           death of a victim.

SB 896        RELATING TO GUARDIANSHIP PROCEEDINGS                      JDC
           Allows waiver of notice in guardianship proceedings
           where person requiring notice cannot be found.

SB 924        RELATING TO OFFENSES AGAINST PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION        JDC
           Clarifies definition of "contraband" in the offense
           of promoting prison contraband in the 2nd degree to

 
           exclude dangerous instruments  and drugs, which are
           covered in promoting  prison  contraband in the 1st

SB 1115       RELATING TO GARNISHMENT                                   JDC
           Repeals   section   652-14,    which   has   become
           unnecessary and superfluous  due  to changes in the
           garnishment law and payroll practices.
