SB 695        RELATING TO JURORS                                        JDC
           Allows prospective juror who  is  over 70 years old
           to claim exemption from jury service.

SB 911        RELATING TO CANDIDATE VACANCIES                           JDC
           Amends the election  law  to  address the filing of
           candidate vacancies  for  nonpartisan offices after
           the close of filing on nomination papers.

SB 1254       RELATING TO STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS                        JDC
           Abolishes the statute of  limitations for all class
           A felonies.

SB 913        RELATING TO ELECTIONS BY MAIL                        TIA, JDC
           Establishes provision for elections by mail.

SB 922        RELATING TO UNAUTHORIZED CONTROL OF                  TIA, JDC
           PROPELLED VEHICLE
           Includes within offense  of unauthorized control of
           a  propelled  vehicle   the   knowing  or  reckless
           exerting  of  unauthorized  control  over another's
           vehicle.

SB 1148       RELATING TO EMPLOYMENT SECURITY APPEALS              LRE, JDC
           Allows employment security  appeals  hearings to be
           conducted by telephone.

SB 1273       RELATING TO CRIMINAL HISTORY CHECKS FOR              EDU, JDC
SD1           TEACHER TRAINEES
           Authorizes  mandatory  criminal  history  checks on
           teacher trainees.

SB 1095       RELATING TO HUNTING                                  ECD, JDC
           Authorizes  an  additional   two   years  to  allow
           adequate time to implement  and evaluate the effect
           of handgun hunting.

SB 484        RELATING TO PERSONAL PROPERTY                        CPN, JDC

 
           Increases the  attachment  and  execution exemption

SB 1142       RELATING TO THE NAMES OF CORPORATIONS,               CPN, JDC
SD1           PARTNERSHIPS, AND LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANIES
           Gives corporations, partnerships, limited liability
           partnerships, and limited  companies the ability to
           seek administrative  relief  against other entities
           who  have  registered  or   use   a  name  that  is
           substantially identical  or  confusingly similar to
           theirs.

SB 949        RELATING TO THE UNIFORM UNINCORPORATED               CPN, JDC
           NONPROFIT ASSOCIATION
           Adopts   the   Uniform   Unincorporated   Nonprofit
           Association  Act.     Provides   that  a  nonprofit
           association is  a  legal  entity  separate from its
           members  for  purposes  of  transferring  real  and
           personal property, tort  and contractual liability,
           and legal standing.
